What is Physiotherapy and how might it help me?

Physiotherapy, also known as physical therapy, helps individuals restore, maintain, and maximise their physical strength, function, and overall well-being. Physiotherapy is a science-based profession that takes a ‘whole person’ approach to health and wellbeing, considering your lifestyle and goals.

You can benefit from physiotherapy at any stage of life, whether dealing with joint pain, pelvic health concerns, or an injury affecting your functionality or quality of life. Our Physiotherapists are here to support you every step of the way.

You do not need a referral from your doctor to visit us, although some insurance companies may require one.

Back & Neck Pain

Back and neck pain are common reasons people miss work. Most of these pains are due to issues with muscles and joints. Physiotherapy has been shown to help 80% of people with these types of pain continue working without needing to take sick leave.

Physiotherapists at Physio.je can thoroughly assess your spine and provide sound advice along with the best treatment and management options. Treatments may include mobilisation, manipulation, soft tissue release, dry needling or acupuncture, clinical Pilates, and individualised exercise prescriptions. All treatments will be tailored to your functional goals and what you want to achieve.

Physiotherapists at Physio.je are endorsed in spinal manipulation and clinical Pilates.

Joint Pain or Restriction

At Physio.je, we specialise in treating all joint conditions. Joint-related issues can keep you away from the activities you love.

If you prefer not to exercise in the gym, no problem!
